Thumbs up Finished Project, Lawn-Boy 5254 19 Inch

This my latest Lawn Boy I just finished working on, a 5254 19 inch mower. It was in decent shape to start with, just had some peeling paint by the mulch plug, and on the front. I first started by cleaning the engine, underside of the deck, cleaned the wheels and adjusters. I then color matched some paint and touched up the peeling paint areas and then blended those areas into the original paint. I followed that up with white rubbing compound on the all the deck followed by a coat of wax. I then used plastic polish on the tank/shroud and air filter cover, metal polish on the handle. All the decals were in really nice shape. This model has the metal Walbro carb with the primer bulb mounted by the air cleaner, It runs great. Now I think it looks to nice to cut the grass

Re: Finished Project, Lawn-Boy 5254 19 Inch

Thanks for all the compliments guys. I just want to say the pictures do make it look better than real life. It does not look as perfect as it does in the pictures. All the parts on the mower are what came with it, So the only cost I really have is in the price of the mower, wich I traded my brother for. That is one reason I got interested in Lawn-Boys, I found it was a good Hobby I could enjoy without really having to spend alot of money.
