Help building tractor snow cab

Ok, this winter we have gotten a ton of snow. I have decided that i will be building a cab for my tractor. It would help if everyone with a cab on their tractor would post images and possibly directions for building, supplies and cost to build

Re: Help building tractor snow cab

It seems you are only limited by your imagination and skillset. Just keep looking and searching the forum.. I've seen some fairly quick, but not too pretty ones all the way to a custom fabricated cab with heat and a/c that puts to shame anything Deere ever made.

In my observation, I think the better looking cabs are smaller (more narow) on the top than the sides and front-back, just make sure they have room for you to move/ operate the tractor and plow/blower..
(You may want to first convert to all electric controls if you currently have manual.)

I've seen plywood, angle iron, plexiglas to flexible plastic sheets.

If I made one, I think I most liked the idea of building the cab frame with conduit (which can be bent with a bending tool) and has stock attachment mechanisms.. (I don't have welding tools)

Of course you also need to first consider venting (get a carbon monoxide detector inside) and then being able to get into the engine bay for oil checking...
