Help Need to install belt on Craftsman LT 1000

I have a Craftsman LT 1000, Model 917.271652 17 I/C. The top belt has come off and I have no clue how to remount it. The owner has no idea where the manual is and he is out of town. I am supposed to have his job done today! It starts and drives well. I have spent hours looking for a manual online with a diagram and got nowhere. Help, please!

Re: Need to install belt on Craftsman LT 1000

Here is a link to the manual. I believe there are belt routing diagrams in it.

Kubota BX1860, 48" fine cut mulching MMM, FEL, snow thrower, cab, Heavy Hitch
TroyBilt LTX 15.5, snow thrower, cab (sold)
TroyBilt LTX 13, (given away)
Craftsman DYT 4000 Special Edition, 21 HP Briggs Twin (sold)
DR Lawn Vacuum. Review here
1978 Craftsman 7 1/2 HP snow blower (backup machine-never use it)

"You will find out what that extra part was for as soon as you throw it away"

Somebody once said, not me, that when putting a tight belt on, the easiest place to squeeze it on is on the larger pulley end. That is, if you can get to the larger pulley end.
