Primer Bulb sticking on Stihl BG 85 blower...NEED HELP

Hey guys,
I put a new carb rebuild kit in this bg 85 blower. After I reassembled, I gave it two primes and the primer bulb stuck in. I was able to get it back to normal, but it stuck again when I tried it. I took it apart a few times and it is still doing the same thing. Oh, by the way, it is a new bulb, so age isnt the issue. Im sure it is something real simple, but its aggravating the heck out of me!

Fuel line pinched/twisted, fuel filter clogged? If it can't draw fuel it can't go back into shape.

Not sure what brand carb it is. But I just cleaned out a Zama weed whacker carb. In the process, I sprayed carb cleaner in everything. Apparently, I should not have sprayed it in the primer assembly. It can damage the two checkvalves in there. After cleaning, I had similar symptoms. One valve was kind of sticking, I guess. Once I got some gas through it, it was a little better, but it's still not working right. Now it pumps, but doesn't actually move the gas the way it's supposed to.

The lesson I learned was take the primer bulb, and, more importantly, the piece it attaches to (with the inlet and outlet, and the internal checkvalves) off the carb before starting with the carb cleaner.

As a slight follow-up, mine had a related, but different, symptom. The bulb on mine would just get really firm. It could suck air in, but could not blow it out. I ended up grabbing some fine copper wire, removing the primer assembly, and gently poking the wire into the holes for the two checkvalves. That appeared to be enough to loosen them slightly, so I could at least pump it more normally. You could try gently poking the valves from each side, if accessible.

Not saying this is a perfect plan (I'm sure you risk more damage to the checkvalves), but since mine wasn't working at all, I figured I didn't have a whole lot to lose.

Update:
Must have been some gunk in the intake port. I took it apart again and blew the primer assembly out with an air compressor. Seems to have fixed it. Thanks for the replies. Nice to know there is a place to get free advice!!
