Re: Snow plow for GT242

I think you can buy any of the used 48" front blades (er plows...) and then simply add a few parts to make it fit between a number of different models. I don't know the number (call a dealer near you) but expect to pay about $700 for a new one. Used go for about $300-400 or sometimes less. I've seen plenty of used ones that fit the GT series when I was trying to find one to fit on my X500. Try some local dealers, craigslist, ebay or machinefinder.com.

2010 John Deere X500
  • 48X w/ Mulch Kit, Gators & HDAPs
  • Brinly Plug Aerator, JD Spreader & 10p Cart
  • 48" Front Blade, Wheel Weights & Suitcase Weights
  • 30" Mechanical Tiller
1994 John Deere 14SB
2000 John Deere JX75

Stihl KM 90R Kombi System
2005 Lawn Boy 10684 Insight Mower

Re: Snow plow for GT242

Thanks Wizz. I've got a dealer right around the corner from me so I'll check there first. I see them used on cl but don't want to spring for one and then find out it won't fit. I'll keep looking for a part number and then focus my search a little more.
