4ft howard rototiller and 700 series tractor?

I have a chance to buy a very nice condition howard HR4(48 inch ) rototiller.Will my JD740 series be able to handle tiller?Thanks,coobie

The tiller is in geat condition and priced at $800 bucks.

48inch tiller should be fine as Long as it only Need's 18PTO HP or Less to run it. It will be fine on your tractor

Thats the part I don,t know?it states 540 RMP on the tiller tag.I guess I will have to some more research on the tiller.

The HR4 is listed as having a Cat 1 hitch, and requires a minimum of 17 hp at the pto.
