Thanks for mentioning the site KeepingitGreen. I wasn't aware of it....their prices look reasonable.
I'm going to be ordering all new belts, blades, etc... along with the needed idler pulley parts (after this weekend, when I dig into it).
Ya'll may help save me from some further research, as I haven't been a Deere owner that long....allow me to ask this....
Where do you spend your hard earned money when restoring and fixing these old John Deere's?
Is there a forum member/forum sponsor/online dealer/website ya'll prefer, use, or can recommend??
The reason I ask is because I would rather spend my money with someone who appreciates and deserves it (locally, if possibe). Secondly, after I'm done with the 400, I have a 170 that needs some attention and I'll need some more parts and information.
