Which John Deere cart: 10P or 13 Metal?
I am planning to upgrade my PrecisionFit 10 cu. ft. metal POS cart this spring and was thinking about getting a poly cart because dents and rust would be less of an issue. The problem is I keep getting hung up on the no tailgate/slanted back design. Something keeps telling me I wont like it. Ive read countless members have a 10 or 17P and love them but I've also read where others dont like how you have to shovel out a load after dumping to get all the gravel, sand, etc. out. I like removing my current tailgate, backing up, release the latch if it already has done it by itself, dump the load, drive foward a little bit and tip the trailer back latched into place all while not touching a shovel.
I've been eyeing the 13 metal cart. I like the size and the tailgate/smooth bed design and wondering if anyone has one and how they hold up being left outside. I'd most likely leave the cart in the garage during the summer and fall but in the off season of winter I would like to park it under my deck and therefore woud be protected some but it will be getting wet. The PF10 has done well for the last two years in this regard but I could buy a new PF10 every other year over the next six years before I spent as much as the Deere 13 cart.
So if I were to buy you a cart would you want me to buy you a 10P or 13 metal?
