112 squaredfender mule drive(intermediate shaft) for a 31 tiller

Hello guys, I just bought a early 31 tiller for my round fender and it came with the mule drive for it. I know they bring good money but wasn't sure how much and how I should list it on ebay(what the title should say). I would like to get maximum exposure for this to try and recoup some of the money that I spent on the tiller itself.

I rebuilt the mule drive with new John Deere bearings and sandblasted all the parts, primed and painted them with genuine JD paint. It looks brand new.

Just wondering a round guess on the price and what other machines this will fit.

Thanks a bunch guys, Chris

Mule drives tend to sell for $100+ and RF may be more. Not sure why you're selling the mule drive separate from the tiller??

I bought an early 31 which was made for the square fendered machine with the adapter on the front of the tiller. You just take the adapter off of the tiller and it will fit on the round fender. The mule drive for the square fender is totally different from the round fender. Its the one with the bracket and the two pulleys. I need just the threaded pulley.

They made a few different intermediate drives for the tillers. The first pic is for the #30 tiller on the round fender models and the second is for the #31. They made a few variations of the second. The model 31 will also fit all the old 200 series. I've never played with a RF so I'm not sure about the #30 and the older drive but I believe it will only work on the RFs.

The ones I have seen listed on Ebay have been under 110, 112, and the 200 series. Most have been called just tiller mule drive. Range from 85.00 t0 320.00 at end of sale. Good pics and list for all of those tractors sit back and let the feeding frenzy begin.

Great pix When I search I just put in "deere mule" and get ~30+ hits. You might try something like "John Deere Intermediate Mule Drive for Rototiller Tiller, 210, 212, 214, 216"

Boy, that's sharp Chris! Should bring at least $100 if not $150.

I might be interested in the front adapter if you're going to get rid of that...

I might, I was thinking about using it on my 317 to build a weight bracket off of it. I just sandblasted it today and am going to paint it up nice. Whats the going rate for those?

No clue, but that's exactly what I was going to do with it.
