John Deere 316 Restoration Complete

After many attempts to post pictures of my 2 month restoration project, I finally have them here to view. Thanks Sonny T for the helpful hint on how to reduce the resolution! Click on the link below.

There are a few mods. Can you spot them?

I like that idea of rhino lining the footrest area. I just might borrow that from you, and do that myself.

You did a great Job on that 316!!
The only modifications I can see are the foot pads, the rear light and the steering wheel knob. Am I right???

Beautiful work. I'd be afraid to drive it for fear of getting it dirty!

Re: John Deere 316 Restoration Complete

One more picture. I hope this time the right size.

PS: Look a liitle harder for one obvious mod. (Maybe only a 316, 318 owner will catch it)

Springs under the seat, rear backup light, and rhino lined the foot rest areas?

Re: John Deere 316 Restoration Complete

****, look at that green paint shine!!!

Nice work, what paint did you use? I too like the foot rest idea, looks like it would hold up better than the stick on skate board deck tape.

Re: John Deere 316 Restoration Complete

Rhino lining is a VERY good idea for durability, my only and I mean VERY minor concern is how slick it might be.

(Not like you are going to be standing on it while riding)

I personally like to paint the footrest area black, then sprinkle a little sand on it then a couple more coats of black.

Anything beats the factory friction tape pads that always peels on the edge and holds water underneath, or just painting them green and scuffing them up first use.
