Homemade tow behind tiller
Created from a Sears "rotospader" that was abandoned in the garden when I moved here. Got the engine last year but without drive wheels on the unit it was difficult to use, so this year I bought a piece of some angle iron, a Norther trailer jack to adjust the height and made the rest from junk around the farm. It took some tweaking with the belt tension and linkage, but once the bugs were worked out it did a good job.
Someday when I have an extra fifty bucks I might put real tires on it, but the wooden wheels worked fine.
And best of all, after tilling 2600 square feet, my back feels great!
